At Kinessence, it’s about wellness, for life.
A movement method should not aim to mold you into something you are not, but rather enhance your natural talents, form and strength. I want to empower you to move within your own unique body, on your own time. My program and flows are customizable, modifiable and enjoyable. I encourage each client to experiment with the workouts until you FEEl good on any given day. It begins with an internal desire, a mindset shift and a connection to your body. From there, I will guide you through the process of deepening your love for your movement.

meet the founder
Kate’s approach to breaking a sweat is far more than building a strong physical shell. She has been movement professional for 10 years in LA since she moved to pursue her acting career. She believes in the integration of conscious breath work, skeletal alignment, muscle mobility and stability AND - most importantly - movement for your own unique body. Kate’s certifications include Comprehensive All Apparatus Pilates, Mat Pilates, Barre, and the ACE Personal Trainer. She has designed barre and dance conditioning programs for the at home platform, Formelife and can be found teaching a dancer’s movement series on the Fabletics Fit App. Kate loves using her on camera skills to teach movement, but nothing gives her more joy and fulfillment than sharing space with her clients.
After years of high stress and anxiety wreaking havoc on her body, Kate was able to transform her own physical form using a mix of classical Pilates principles and contemporary flows taken from her dance experience. Her health improved, cortisol level decreased and her joy for movement became ever present. This experience drove her to create a space for others to take control of not only their physical health, but mental well-being. Her goal is to share this knowledge and experience with every client, ultimately empowering them to discover a greater strength within themselves.
